Partnerships with leading high-tech companies provide real-world AI project experience under academic and industry expert guidance.
Multidisciplinary student teams assist local farmers and factories in integrating AI technologies to enhance production efficiency and develop innovative business models.
Our participants engage directly with high school students in the Western Negev — not only to teach, but to spark curiosity, confidence, and relevance in a rapidly changing world.
On October 7th, 2023, Kibbutz Nir Oz was devastated in one of the most traumatic events in Israel’s history. Amid the destruction, Binah BaLev (“Wisdom in the Heart”) was born—an initiative dedicated to transforming grief into growth through AI-driven education, meaningful work, and community resilience.
We aim to turn the Western Negev into a center of inclusive innovation, led by those who live there and those who choose to join them. Through advanced education, professional training, and integration of cutting-edge technologies, we can propel the region forward.
Providing practical training that prepares students, graduates, entrepreneurs, and professionals to participate actively and productively in the AI-ready job market while strengthening regional resilience.
At Binah BaLev, learning doesn’t start from theory — it starts from real problems. Every project begins with a need from the field: from local communities, from partnering companies, or from the participants themselves. Participants form interdisciplinary teams apply AI tools to build actual solutions: in agriculture, health, robotics, climate, education, and more. They gain hands-on experience by developing AI agents, working with real stakeholders, and delivering real outcomes.
This is not just preparation for work —it’s preparation for impact.
The program offers comprehensive practical training in diverse fields, solving real challenges while preparing for the future of employment.
Participants don’t just learn—they live the mission. University graduates from different disciplines relocate to the Western Negev, work on-site with schools, farms, municipalities, and companies, and become part of the community they serve. This is a new model of national service: one that blends personal growth with regional revival.
This choice is no coincidence. As a result of the severe challenges and trauma that Kibbutz Nir Oz and the Western Negev endured on October 7th, 2023, "Binah BaLev" serves as a community growth engine, establishing Nir Oz, the Eshkol Regional Council and the Western Negev as a center of excellence and technological innovation.
Where artificial intelligence meets human wisdom to create meaningful solutions for real community challenges, preparing the next generation for the AI-driven future.
Students work in hybrid teams on real projects, learning to bridge knowledge gaps through self-guided study supported by intelligent tools while solving actual community problems.
From smart agriculture and industrial automation to educational innovation - our AI solutions directly serve local farmers, factories, and schools in the Western Negev.
Led by visionaries from academia and industry, our team combines deep expertise in AI and technology with passionate commitment to community development and social impact.
